The Buechner Institute is becoming a significant voice in raising the profile of the study of the humanities in the region and beyond.

Offering significant supplements to the curricula for King College students and other students in the region, our programming will expose secondary and college students to vocational possibilities as well as providing insight into the fundamental issues of our time and place.Various symposia and conferences will enhance classroom experiences.

Students will also have the opportunity to host speakers and performers who visit the Institute. Furthermore, students will assist in promotional work and other fundamentals involved in special events.The Buechner Institute Lecture Series, a speaker series offered several times a month throughout the school year, will provide a venue for student education and entertainment.
