The Buechner Institute: A Place for Conversation

Snow_covered campus photo

The Buechner Institute provides a venue for scholars to gather to think about the various ways that faith informs academic disciplines. King College has generously worked to bring this idea to fruition. Founded as a Presbyterian college in 1867, King sees the Institute as a part of its mission to make far-reaching contributions in academic and artistic endeavors. A warm King College welcome awaits participants. The Buechner Institute offers on-campus housing, library and recreational facilities, and an environment that fosters fellowship and good conversation.

Conferences, lectures, and other events will feature the opportunity to think out loud about how the humanities and faith may continue to inform academic work in the twenty-first century work of higher education.
